About the Candidate

As a retired prosecuting attorney, I know how important it is for governments to have protective laws and a series of checks and balances for a city to function efficiently without being a strait-jacket or bending the rules to a favored few. I am well-equipped to address the challenges faced by Dalton Gardens. Our city is widely acknowledged as a paradise that others admire and covet.

We need to protect our city through:

  • FRUGALITY: spending less and living within our means

  • TRANSPARENCY: making it easier for residents to see policies and business transactions

  • COMMUNITY: listening to the residents and partnering with them to shape a bright future for Dalton Gardens

Meet Sue

Sue Supp grew up in Illinois in a family that engaged in frequent and lively political discussions. Being raised in a conservative environment, she naturally aligned herself with the principles of the Republican party.

As a working mother of four children, Sue gained a firsthand understanding of the value and significance of American freedom during her time in Iran. There, she operated a small bakery to support handicapped and orphaned children. Unfortunately, she also witnessed the erosion of citizen rights and the resulting turmoil of a revolution, which prompted her to urgently seek an escape with her children at the time.

These experiences have profoundly shaped Sue's perspective on the consequences of government overreach and the exclusion of people from the decision-making process. Driven by the desire to foster community, she is committed to bringing together diverse perspectives, facilitating transparency, and ensuring that the voices of the people are heard.
